These sessions are for past clients who have finished our group training OR clients looking to complete their last class.
Drop in Session's are weather dependent. If it is raining hard, high winds or thunder and lightening class will be cancelled. If you are not sure, please check back on a regular basis. It WILL be posted on this blog if it is cancelled. Please also check on this blog on a regular basis to make sure that no changes have been made to times or locations of the class you are wanting to attend.

Take Kalamalka Lake Rd. off Highway 97. Go through most of Coldstream and watch for the blue sign pointing to Kalmalka Lake Park and Cosens Bay. You will past the first park turnoff, but the trail head for this one is on the 2nd turnoff, about 2 km down. There is one dodgily marked turnoff that is a sharp hairpin, but don't worry, the trail is not difficult to find.

Beginners Tracking Seminar FINISHED
The Ruff Life is excited to announce our up and coming tracking seminar with Johnny Menezes. Johnny is a personal friend and an amazing trainer. Johnny has been actively involved in Schutzhund (Tracking, Obedience and Protection) as a trainer, handler and helper for over 25 years!!! Before moving to Canada from South Africa in 2008, Johnny was a National Helper for Breed Survey and National Schutzhund Trails as well as a Judge.
Johnny now resides in Kelowna, doing what he does best. Johnny is a Professional Dog Trainer and also has a small private Schutzhund Club/Training Group.

Roads going up to the hiking spot are dirt roads with some ruts- This will be a harder hike, you are more then welcome to bring your own vehicle in case if you want to turn around and come back down the mountain. We will be stopping for lunch- it is REALLY important that you bring food for this hike. It is a rigorous hike!

This is an annual event that is put on by the Downtown Vernon Association. There is great entertainment, shopping, food, demos....etc. AND a great place to take your dog to socialize and desensitize them to people, situations, loud noises, crowds...etc.
