A Puppy’s Christmas

It’s the day before Christmas and all through the house

The puppies are squeaking an old rubber mouse.

The wreath which had merrily hung on the door

Is scattered in pieces all over the floor

The stockings that hung in a neat little row

Now boast a hole in each one of the toes.

The tree was subjected to bright-eyed whims,

And now, although splendid, it’s missing some limbs.

I catch them and hold them…”Be good”, I insist

They lick me then run off to see what they’ve missed.

And now as I watch them the thought comes to me,

That theirs is the spirit that Christmas should be.

Should children and puppies show us the way,

And teach us the joy that should come with this day?

Could they bring the message that’s written above,

And tell us that, most of all Christmas is love.

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEARS BOARDING

Just a quick reminder to those of you planning on going out of town for the holidays. Our boarding is 80% full for the Christmas Season. So if you do need boarding please book soon!

We are closed for drop off and pick up Decmeber. 24-26 & December 31 & January.1st. So if you need to use boarding services, your dog must be dropped off or picked up on an date that is open.

COST

One Dog Family: $25/night

Two Dog Family: $40/ night

**We ONLY charge per night- so when you board your dog with us they get the days for free! **

Discounts are given to those who leave their dog longer then 7 nights

FUN EVENT !!!!

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING AT SOVEREIGN LAKE WITH YOUR POOCH

Date & Time: Saturday, December.18th at 11am

Place: Sovereign Lake- Near Silver Star

Cost: $16.50/day pass  $20/ Boot, Skiis, & Pole Rental

Bring: Long Leash (All dogs MUST be on a leash), warm clothing- in layers, water...etc.

**If you would like to let me know before hand, we might be able to get a group rate. **

Herding Trial

Anyone interested in coming out and seeing what a herding (sheep) trial is like. You are more then welcome to join us!!! It is a fun, friendly, family event!

Daycare is open Monday-Friday!

You can drop your dog off for up to 11 hours in a day for ONLY $16.

Pick up and Drop off times:

7:45am-10am & 5-7pm

DAYCARE & BOARDING WILL RESUME AS NORMAL WHEN WE ARE AWAY! SO PLEASE BRING YOUR FURRY FRIEND FOR A DAY OF FUN!
