More Info | A Vigil to Remember the Whistler 100 Sled Dogs This is a peaceful vigil in order to raise awareness against animal cruelty and in memory of "The Whistler 100" dogs who were made to suffer and killed brutally after the downfall of tourism shortly after the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, BC. Everyone is welcome to attend, you dont have to own a dog to show your support. ... We will be meeting at Cenotaph Park (Across from the Grey Hound Station) Please bring your dogs on a leash, and some type of type of light source. (Candle in a glass jar with sand, Glow Stick, LED lights or flashlights) Please also show your support by putting a RED ribbon on your dog(s). We will be gathering to sign a petition to push the C-229 Bill.
